Hangman

• Pick a word list, then guess letters by clicking them or typing on your keyboard.
• Each wrong letter adds a part to the stick figure. Six wrong letters and it's over.
• Find every letter in the word and your life is spared for another game.
• Enter starts a new word. Number keys pick a list: 1–5 for 1st to 5th grade, 9 hard to spell, 0 SAT.

The original Simple Hangman is a free Windows console game on the Microsoft Store, styled like a 1980s DOS bulletin board. This version keeps its word lists and messages. It also fixes a few things: duplicate words and words that could never be won (like x-ray and fiancé) are gone, truncated entries like badminto and crocodle are corrected, and a list starts over instead of crashing once you've played every word in it.
